1) Battle of New Market May 17-18, 2008 on the original battlefield, New Market, VA 2) Occupation of Mechanicsburg June 6-8, 2008 Mechanicsburg, PA The script revolves around the Confederate cavalry and artillery that will capture and occupy Mechanicsburg, just days before being called to Gettysburg for 'The Big One'. Arrive Friday, June 6 and get set up in municipal park with shade trees, running water and flush toilets. Mostly urban skirmishes and arrest of the (real) mayor on Sunday. Saturday start at 10 am and over on Sunday about 2 PM. Powder burning, yet laid back event.
